Create Autoplay Options in CD/DVD

Hi guys,
    I m going to tell you how to create your own autoplay cd’s/dvd’s.It’s so
simple.

For Windows ( What to do?? For the customers we need to do it for windows too ):

      1.Create two files named as autorun.inf and autostart.bat
      2.The contents should be like this :
          /* autorun.inf */
         [autorun]
         open=autostart.bat
         icon=LOGO1.GIF

         /* autostart.bat */
        @echo Created By Balachandar.K.M
        @start home.html
        @cls
        @exit

For Linux ( I tested it in ubuntu 8.04 )
      1.Create two files named as autorun.inf and autostart.sh
      2.The contents should be like this :
         /* autorun.inf */
         [autorun]
         open=sh autostart.sh
         icon=LOGO1.GIF

         /* autostart.sh */
         #!/bin/bash
         firefox home.html &

      3.Just tailor the above files for your need and put it into the cd/dvd.You can
replace the home.html file with any .exe or .html or .swf file.
                               cheers.

  1. Hi

    I created two files named as autorun.inf and autostart.sh as requested for ubuntu.

    In the autostart.sh i placed :
    /* autostart.sh */
    #!/bin/bash
    Autoplay.htm &

    Created a new icon and named it LOGO1.GIF

    on the CD rom i copied the files:
    LOGO1.GIF
    autorun.inf
    autostart.sh
    Autoplay.htm

    Place the disc into the drive on Ubuntu 9.10 and nothing happens … I do see the Logo but thats it. What am I doing wrong please
